Issues Consultation 4: Habitats Regulations Assessment Screening Task 1 Report
This is the consultation page for the New Local Plan Habitats Regulations Screening Task 1 Report.
The purpose of the Habitats Regulations Assessment is to identify if the New Local Plan will have an adverse impact on any European Sites of nature conservation interest, and to direct the New Local Plan towards policies options that will prevent or minimise such adverse effects from occurring.
The first stage of a Habitats Regulations Assessment is Screening. Task 1 of the Screening process is identifying those European Sites that may be affected by the New Local Plan.
Additionally, consideration has been given to drawing up an early list of those plans and programme that may, in-combination with the New Local Plan, have an adverse impact on a European Site/s.
Comments are welcomed on the New Local Plan Habitats Regulations Screening Task 1 Report. The report can be viewed by clicking on the 'view and comment' button below. A questionnaire is provided, which the Council would ask you to use to provide your comments. If you wish to upload information to support your comments this can be done after the last question in the questionnaire.
